Overview

Notices can be sent as an email, provided you have a users email address imported into your dashboard. This option is available for use on - General, External Link and File / Media Notices only.

When you've created your card and selected your category and are ready to publish to the app there is an option to send a Notification, this appears as a Push Notification on an App Account users device home screen.

There are 3 options available for email notifications as detailed below - Notices are automatically set to Don't Send Email:

Other options for email notifications are detailed below:

  1. Email Users Without Account: Selecting this option will send an email of your Notice to your parent community that haven't downloaded the app to their phones. This is particularly useful to ensure Notices are sent to your entire parent community.

Note: The email will be sent provided that there is an email address associated to the user via CSV upload or a data sync

2. Email Users With an Account: Selecting this option will send an email your parent community containing the content of your Notice provided they have signed up to the app with their email address. This is particularly useful when users have switched off Notifications switched off for folders and you want to still communicate to that audience.

Note: Users will need to have signed up to the app registering with their email address - users that signed up to the app registering their mobile number will not receive an email.

3. Email Everyone: Selecting this option will send an email your entire parent community as well as sending an in-app notification containing the content of your Notice. This is particularly useful for urgent messages that you need to ensure are disseminated to your entire parent community.

Note: Users will need to have signed up to the app registering with their email address or have an email address associated to the user via CSV upload or a data sync. Users that signed up to the app registering their mobile number ONLY will not receive an email.
